When children’s author Charlotte Riggle launched her book Catherine’s Pascha, she reached out for help with digital marketing, particularly search engine optimization. Although she was excelling in PR and event marketing, her GoDaddy site limited her SEO potential. I transitioned her to a bright, professional WordPress site optimized for search and provided extensive training in SEO best practices. Together, we crafted a keyword campaign and content plan to support her book’s visibility online.

Two years later, I collaborated with Charlotte again to expand the site into a full author platform, adding new layouts and features to showcase her latest book.

The “Before” Picture

Charlotte’s original site wasn’t designed to meet her needs. I envisioned a clean, modern site rich with vibrant photos and illustrations from her work. Multiple interior page layouts allowed us to integrate as many visuals as possible while keeping the structure organized and engaging.

I spent two weeks developing an SEO strategy, fine-tuning her content and revising her copy based on a targeted keyword campaign. I also coached her on SEO principles, enabling her to continue optimizing the site as she added content throughout the year.

Key Contributions

  • Led sales, account management, and project coordination.
  • Directed creative vision, UX design, and site structure to support Charlotte’s brand and showcase her books.
  • Built a WordPress site optimized for SEO, integrating ecommerce and custom page layouts.
  • Developed a comprehensive SEO strategy and provided ongoing coaching to empower Charlotte in her digital marketing efforts.

Testimonial

“Tami is smart, talented, and an absolute joy to work with! When we started working together, I knew what I needed, but I had no idea how to get it done. And, what’s more, I had a limited budget. Tami unleashed her knowledge and creativity, and found affordable solutions for me. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of my project.”
