Charlotte Riggle

Tacoma, WA

When children’s author Charlotte Riggle was launching her book, Catherine’s Pascha, she came to me to discuss her overall digital marketing efforts. While she was knocking it out of the park in terms of PR and event marketing, she was particularly concerned about search engine optimization and felt limited by her GoDaddy site. I helped her move to a clean, bright WordPress site optimized for search. I trained Charlotte from the ground up in SEO best practices and worked with her at length to create a strong keyword campaign and content plan.

Two years later, I worked with Charlotte to build out a full author site and add her latest book information.

The “Before” Picture

Charlotte’s original GoDaddy site didn’t fit her needs. I wanted to provide her with a clean, modern and professional site filled with colorful photos and illustrations from her book. I created multiple interior page layouts to provide a clean structure that allowed us to use as many images as possible.

I spent two weeks creating a search strategy for the new site. I helped to fine-tune Charlotte’s content strategy and revise her existing copy around a page-by-page keyword campaign. I also taught her everything I know about SEO — she wanted to continue adding content to the new site throughout the year, and I wanted her to be able to continue the efforts we had started.

The final product is clean, colorful and chock-full of useful content both for general audiences and customers of the book.

Testimonial

“Tami is smart, talented, and an absolute joy to work with! When we started working together, I knew what I needed, but I had no idea how to get it done. And, what’s more, I had a limited budget. Tami unleashed her knowledge and creativity, and found affordable solutions for me. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of my project.”
