Video Production Management

While working at the Texas Comptroller’s office, I began creating videos to accompany my digital projects. I interviewed entrepreneur/astronaut Richard Garriott and Chloe Dao from Project Runway, among others. I also filmed a number of agency meetings, seminars and press videos, as well as B-roll from the South by Southwest festival.

Responsibilities

• Produced, directed, shot and edited video projects
• Completed coursework to learn crew management for both live and studio events, as well as lighting, audio and script writing
• Created department video production process and training procedures
• Researched and purchased full video kit for video production department, including HD camera, lighting and audio gear, and accessories
